So...I've ventured into a whole new realm of digital scrapbooking for me, trying to design! After realizing one night that I want to do this, I started looking for tutorials that help teach you how to design kits, not just put them together (very hard to find actually) and eventually I found enough at DSP to really get me started! It's been wonderful making my very own papers and tags, flowers, rickrack, frames, slides...even some ribbons and buttons using photos of the real thing that I took! I saw that some designers like to take pictures of random textures from daily life and use them to create papers and other supplies, and I found that it works so well for me too, I'm now addicted! Below you will see some papers that came from my bedspread, the leather headboard, some ribbon from my scarf, the button from my boxers...it's great, lol! I have so many photos of random stuff around the house now, and with them I've created some pretty neat stuff! It's been a blast. <3 I guess one way to start is to learn how to create zip files and upload them, seems pretty essential heh :p
Some of the stuff I've made so far...I'm MOST excited about the flowers, because I made them by hand with the eliptical marquee, dodge and burn, and layer style tools!
